The Garden District Flowers is locally owned and family operated by Tom Heath and his sister Cheryl Kindig since 1978. Our staff designers have over 100 years of combined experience and talent. These years enable us to create the perfect presentation for you, our client: from everyday celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries as well as special events, parties, and grand formal weddings. Our high standards ensure our clients they have chosen the very best.

Our many years of business relations with all the local Country Clubs and events locations ensure our clients that the products will be appropriate and coordinated for your special occasion. Our shop serves the following areas: Bakersfield, Rosedale, Kern City, Rio Bravo, California State University Bakersfield Campus, and all funeral homes, nursing homes and hospitals in these areas.

Our shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
We are closed on Sunday.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 24 hours prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

We guarantee all products to be fresh and of high florist quality. Whether you ordered these flowers for yourself or received them as a gift, please phone us AT ONCE if you are not completely satisfied.

A local delivery fee of $10.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to help assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at a specific time of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Orders requesting delivery on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Deliveries of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the internet.

Orders outside of the Bakersfield areas, will be subject to a $14.95 delivery charge.
